 Restart Computer Directly into “Safe Mode”

BootSafeXP is a Windows portable utility to quickly restart Windows XP in Safe Mode. Once started in Safe Mode, you will automatically restart in Normal Mode on the next reboot, unless you run BootSafeXP again while in Safe Mode. This helps you avoid continuously tapping the F8 while restarting the PC.

This utility may be run from a Flash drive, CD or other Portable Devises that means simply copy the BootSafeXP.exe to your portable medium.  


This utility may be work on other Microsoft Windows Versions. This requires standard VB6SP6 Runtime files so you can download from www.Microsoft.com most systems have these already, but if something isn't working properly, download them and try again. When using the installer package, these files are available and will be installed automatically.

Change Default Operating System In Windows Boot Menu:
If you use more than one Operating Systems ( Windows 7, Vista, Windows XP, Windows 98 ) in your computer, you can select which one starts when you turn on your computer. More than one operating system installed on a computer is often called a multiboot configuration.

If you Change Default Operating System in Windows simply follow these steps below

First Right Click on the Computer.
Go to Properties


Switch to the “Advanced” tab. 
Select Startup and recovery item and click on “Settings” button



Under System startup, in the Default operating system list
Select default operating system from the dropdown list that you want to use when Windows boots up


And also you can change the Time to display list of operating systems at the time of booting
Click OK Button.....

Restart your computer before the changes that you make affect.

How to Remove / Disable Windows Boot Logo

Disable or remove the Boot logo / Splash screen which will speed up the Windows boot process by a few seconds.

If you remove or disable the boot logo, you will additionally not be able to see any boot messages, such as check disk.

You can remove the boot logo, follow these steps below

First Click Start  Button > Click Run.
Run box will appear.

1. In the Run box, type msconfig and click OK.


2. In the System Configuration Utility, click the BOOT.INI tab.  


3. On the BOOT.INI tab, see the Boot options click the /NOGUIBOOT check box, Click OK



Restart your computer before the changes that you make affect.
