Tablet computers are typically designed to provide similar functionality to desktops except within a portable device. It designed specifically for portability. Note books and tablet PC’s are must utilize an integrated monitor and be capable of operation off an integrated battery or other portable power source. There are generally two formats, a convertible model with an integrated keyboard or a slate style, with a removable keyboard. The Microsoft Windows operating system designed for tablet PC technology.
